This is one of the options available through the CARES project to offer Coronavirus relief options. My advice to everyone: Don’t defer payroll tax. Pay it. Even if paying it means you need to take out a short term loan etc. You will have to pay it eventually, and it will make your reporting more difficult.
I know it sounds great, but just. don’t.
And that’s my advice for today.
