I have been speaking with local lenders regarding the details on PPP forgiveness and have been advised to wait a few weeks to send in the applications. The details are still under debate and there is also a motion to allow certain automatic forgiveness for amounts under $150,000. Whether or not that is passed will be finalized within the next couple weeks.
Their recommendation is to follow up towards the end of September and find out what was decided and then if needed, submit the forgiveness applications.
